Slate Flooring

No two projects are the same – we can provide products to your bespoke specification – whether it’s for flooring or cladding, stair treads and risers, skirtings, copings or sills, worktops or exterior applications such as town centre pedestrianisation schemes, paving and patios.

Three different wearing surfaces were tested for slip resistance: natural riven, patina and honed. All surfaces exhibited low resistance to slip in either wet or dry surface conditions except for the honed surface which just moved into the classification of having a moderate potential for slip under wet surface conditions. This testing confirmed that whatever the traffic conditions, a good resistance to slip will be maintained.
